For HIKERS, Kaprun and its surroundings are a paradise. 400 km of signposted hiking trails at all altitudes and all levels of difficulty. In the valley, or over alpine pastures to the many surrounding mountains and peaks, all hikers and mountaineers can find their way. 

Here, there are valley and themed hiking trails for the family, as well as high Alpine hikes, via ferratas and even climbing tours for the more advanced mountain-lovers. 

BIKERS can live life to its fullest in the Zell am See - Kaprun region and in Pinzgau. Whether by bike or e-bike on the Tauern bike trail (directly in front of the house!) or a valley bike trail or by mountainbike on one of the many signposted trails - you will be amazed by one of the many well-maintained trails.

And if you are a downhiller, freerider or pro-mountainbiker and prefer to take your custom-made bike on various tables and doubles, take-offs, step-downs or drops, you can do this at the Epic Bikepark Leogang, which is just half an hour away. 

However you get around, you can look forward to "chilling out" in the evening at Rieder Guesthouse!
